Wow, what an amazing collections you guys have! I have far less records, sold quite a few in the CD era, this is what I have left. Regretfully they are stored in the attic, If I want to play a few records, I have to get them from upstairs ...

I love them as well, that sold me on choosing this room for my listening room, it's the first room you see coming in the front door, just really has a great look, my brother in-law made them.

 

ALF! I had that same stuffed animal as a kid all the through my 20s when i gave it to a girl I was dating. We broke up and I never got it back. Strangely, I still want one.

I have the kallax 4x2 with the four units horizontal and the two vertical. I really love it and it holds a lot of my collection, online I have seen what looks like the same kallax unit but they had a smaller shelving unit on top for heir CDs, was wondering if anyone knew an add on or way to add on a shelving unit for CDs to the kallax models. Would love to have my whole collection on display.

 

There are inserts that fit inside the Kallax series. I think I have seen them also on Ebay, but here is a link to a German producer:

You could always buy a 1x4 Kallax, lay in horizontally across the top of you 2x4 Kallax (same width). Then use the spacers we linked above for CDs.

I have 2 setups with a 2x4 Kallax (vertical) and a 2x2 placed on top. It looks like one piece pretty much, and it's floor to ceiling vinyl.
I posted pics in this thread a couple times I believe.
