Mine isn't a very good example, since it was Neil's song, "Ohio", but David Crosby was crying at the end with his "Why?" and "How Many More?"

I always felt that Paul was choking up on the final "You left me waiting here/A long, long time ago" refrain. Just in the way he kind of swallows the word, "here."

    At about 2:50.

Michael Jackson at the end of “She’s Out of My Life” is really letting it go. I honestly can’t tell if it is real or forced for the sake of drama. I find it annoying in either case.

EDIT: looks like @bRETT had the exact thought as I did.

Jackson repeated the trick, to far less effect, on this one. Sorry Michael, but it's hard to feel teary when the lyric is barely coherent:

Kate McGarrigle alledgedly cried recording "Go leave", and you can hear the tear drops falling on the guitar at the very end.

On the Abbey Road super deluxe, there's that version of Golden Slumbers that is part of the medley outtake. Paul is obviously getting emotional doing it.

Gregg Allman on “Song for Adam” from his last lp Southern Blood. The song was issued if I remember right in its unfinished form(?). I’ll have to give it another listen.

    Would that happen?

Great album. I only have their first two and they're both fine albums.

I remember reading that something happened with Michael Stipe where he got carried away recording "South Central Rain."

The lyrics are pretty maudlin, but Eddie Cochran sounds genuinely choked up on "Three Stars."

Anita Lane on Nick Cave’s “The Kindness of Strangers”. She’s literally credited with “crying”.

Well of course she would cry - the song was about her husband running off to Europe with a dancer, while she was left behind with their young son. Just the start of their tumultous life together.

I got all of them, and I'd recommend you to keep going. Their third warner album (Pronto Monto) is a bit hate or or love it, but the rest are pretty solid.

I think it was Maria Booker, wife of Walter Booker, the guitarist on the track.

I listened to Peter Frampton's album I'm In You once and I remember his vocal delivery was pretty emotional/weepy/melodramatic on a few songs.

Some nice girl Kesha or Kisha (?) cries singing Don’t think Twice by His Bobness in the tribute album Chimes of Freedom IIRC

I don't doubt she cried, I meant would the tears make an audible sound on the guitar? I don't know, it might be possible.

I'd get any of their albums when I see them on vinyl. I love their voices and style. One of my friends loves them and will have just about everything, but he never became a CD buyer so won't have CD era ones.

Debatably around 2:40, using this lipsynched version so I can avoid the album cover.

I’ve cried after forking out my hard earned cash on some albums - does that count?
