About the programme

 

Yes, it's a breathtaking story of what humans are capable to do.
I was in the valley just a few days before he did the climb, but I didn't know it at the time.
As a documentary I think it's not nearly as good as Dawn Wall

 

In my younger days I did rock & ice both... that climb was far beyond the level of experienced climbers--even climbers who live at Yosemite. Certainly excessive plus--like my friend who has over 3000 jumps as a skydiver (70+ now so, old chutes) or the midwest team diving mines using rebreathers.
