At the risk of dragging this thread into the gutter, there's also Blowfly's cover version of this: 'Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum'.

Have we had 'Doctor Doctor' by UFO?

If we're allowed classical pieces then 'Adagio Adagio' by Henze (on Edna Michell's 'Compassion' CD)

Fifty-Fifty by the Mothers is a bit of a stretch but I guess it still counts.
But I guess the parenthetical (Amerikon) in Paul Kantner's 'Mau Mau' (from Blows Against the Empire) ruins that one as does (It Wears Off) in Todd R's 'Tic Tic Tic'.

The song Koyaanisqatsi has only one word in it: Koyaanisqatsi. It is repeated 16 times in the song, 4 times from 0:29 to 0:55, 4 times from 1:28 to 1:54, and 8 times from 2:27 to 3:22.

Edit: And now that I see I misinterpreted the thread title, Koyaanisqatsi is also repeated 0 times in the title of the song.

Did you know that this was written by Jim Glaser of "Tompall Glaser & The Glaser Brothers" fame? He originally wrote it as "Girl, Girl" but Gary recorded it and used "Woman, Woman" and ended up having a hit. In 1984, Jim himself would later record it as "Woman, Woman" and it is on his great album "The Man In The Mirror" from 1984, and is on CD. Go to www.jimglaser.com or www.etrecordshop.com and order it.

How about this for a theme? All are different songs.

    Shame -- Evelyn "Champagne" King
    Shame, Shame -- Magic Lanterns
Shame, Shame, Shame -- Shirley (and Company)
Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame -- Mark Collie

Yes, two of them were mentioned earlier ... but I like the progression.

Corinna - Big Joe Turner, and Ray Peterson were the ones I mentioned in my post :)

Gone Gone Gone - is that different than "Some sunny day baby," which is how the Everly song starts?

Oh, sorry, I must have missed it in your post ... Ray Peterson is who I had in mind. Now that I think of it, someone else had a song called Corinna Corinna (or something like that), and it was a different song ... King Biscuit Boy perhaps?

I'm not sure about the Tommy James song, it's been years since I listened to it. It's on the I Think We're Alone Now LP.
