Judging by that trailer, I have a feeling that what we'll actually get is "Michael Scott in Space" :)

I like the theme music. They should use it in a movie or something.

If it's a tenth as funny as this was, I'll count it a blessing.

There's been so much lunacy in the past two years, I'd forgotten all about "Space Force".

“At some point in the future, we’re going to look back and say, ‘How did we do it without space?’ Wouldn’t that be nice? Can you believe that space is going to do that? We know what this is, space. That’s all it has to say: space. There’s a lot of room out there, right? This is infinity here. It could be infinity. We don’t really don’t know. But it could be. It has to be something – but it could be infinity, right?”

(You can't make this stuff up.)

I'm pretty close to Carell burnout. He's in everything ala Jim Carrey, who I grew sick of.

I tried imagining how I could come up with a train of thought and speech like that....just impossible. The reasoning...the logic...the...wow.

He was so awful in Looking for Friend for the End of the World, but he was miscast - the character was clearly written with Robert Downey Jr in mind.

Watched episode 1 of Space Force and he was trying very hard not to be like his Office character. No laughs yet but some say it gets funny in the third episode.

Watched the first episode later night. It was alright with a few laughs. Seemed to have potential. Good cast too. I'll give it a couple of episodes and see where ' Space Force ' takes me.

I've read some utterly scathing reviews of the series.

I came here to get some counterpoint. Not seeing much, yet.

Only watched the first episode and , as could be expected , Carell was pretty much in every scene. If the other episodes tone his role down and flesh out out the other characters it could be promising.
I'll watch a couple more tonight.

Just finished watching ep 2 of this, and it's a hard pass from me. Great cast and behind the scenes talent I usually enjoy, but it just doesn't work from where I'm sitting and I can understand the scathing reviews. His other current comedy, "Upload", however, is absolutely fantastic.
