Is that who the problem was? Depends who you listen to but Reni was impossible too, as was John. Only Mani was a stand-up geezer.
Pretty sure Ian was the least of their problems right behind Mani. Squire and Reni were exceptionally loony themselves.
I still don’t understand the endless slagging of Second Coming. At least a 1/3 of it and some of the b-sides are absolutely brilliant
And as equally misinformed as Right Said Fred according to their twitter account. How stupid can people be. By the way am I allowed to mention RSF on this forum?I don't want to upset any Zeppelin fans.
A lot of people don’t believe the government’s shtick and removal of our freedoms, I don’t think that makes them misinformed.
I sincerely hope so. Add Noel to the list of aging Manc rock star cranks. Anyone shouting about 'woke snowflakes' deserves all the flak they get.
Hes got a greatest hits album to promote and a film to plug. Its the same trick on repeat,he mouths it off to get the headlines and it always works,he only acts stupid,if you listen to one of his interviews on Radio X every second word is a swear word and every second sentence is a put down of somebody. Yesterday I listened to him on Radio 4,surprisingly not one word had to be bleeped out. He knows exactly what it takes to hype the media.
He got the publicity he wanted and the headlines, that guy knows how to sell himself to the demographics his music is aimed at,lets have it right he nicked riffs off T Rex added a Slade chorus and got his brother to sing in an afflected Lennon/Johnny Rotten voice, sold it to the masses and cleaned up. Nowadays hes putting out sub Weller mid tempo tracks................. and getting in Weller and Marr to flesh it out and still cleaning up. All publicity is good publicity.
I saw Oasis twice,a pre Noel,The Rain,an interesting kid of a singer, the rest rubbish. Then a full blown Oasis and it was play a song, stop, walk around in circles, shake something, twiddle with something and play a song, stop, walk around in circles, repeat the twiddling and play another song. At their peak they was a rubbish wooden Slade tribute act,I went home after 20 minutes thankful that I was on the guest list so got in for free. Noel is a genius,he sold that tripe and got away with it.
I saw them many times over the years. Stone Roses a few times too, but after the last mega stadium gig I was at in 2016 I really hope thats it now.

Then why did they release a dozen or so absolutely wonderful songs in the ensuing years? posts like this achieve nothing
