Supersense Coltrane Lacquer vs Acoustic Sounds Series version

    I give my thoughts after finally receiving the Supersense Laquer. in a nutshell, the Acoustic Sounds version is the best I've heard of any general reissue and the most "buttoned up". Not necessarily better or worse than the Supersense. Just different. Two different master tapes, two different masterings.

    Since one is $500 and already unobtanium anyway, it and the AS is $35-40, and probably still fairly easy to find, it’s not much of a comparison.
