do you like Swedish music? If yes, post your favorites here, anything from rock to pop/schlager, disco..... to even songs by international artists produced by Swedes like Cheiron/Max Martin/Bloodshy & Avant etc. :)

I will start with a synth-disco song from one of my personal favorite groups..... Secret Service

Secret Service - Let Us Dance Just a little bit more (1985)

Love the Swedes. Some of my favorite music from there was/is issued on Labrador records, like this fantastic track by The Mary Onettes. Check out Radio Dept., The Legends, Avis House Kings, etc. as well.

Absolutely! A great tune. I heard the English language version first and really liked it. I like the version in Swedish too though I do not speak the language. Was this video ever dubbed in English? Very few people here in the States would know this song - I only know it because IIRC I heard it in Europe on my honeymoon in 1999.

I have Hagnesta Hill and Isola in my collection. Both are excellent IMHO.

Fairly obscure. She and her partner, Tobias Froberg, live in New Orleans and are in love with jazz!
