    I've just got an Electric warrior Japanese edition CD that comes in a cardboard sleeve with two booklets, inner sleeve and mini poster. Also, it has eight bonus tracks.

    The sound quality seems OK, but I recall having read somewhere that the English 30th. anniversary edition (with the same bonus tracks) has dropouts and the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. According to an Amazon.com customer, "Mambo sun" has two dropouts and an early fade.

    As I'd never heard this album before, can somebody confirm those problems? "Mambo sun" clocks in at 3:38, and I have yet to listen closely for any dropout. Thanks in advance.

    Drop Outs were on 1:51 and 1:58... I said it was, but they have fixed it!

    The best sounding Electric Warrior I've heard is a Swedish (also available in UK and France) 1990 Castle Classics CD. No drop outs. Same basic deal as the Kinks PRT label reissues; long out of print on that label though.
