(prefers not referring to certain "specials" such as this "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" as "children's specials")

 

They actually lost OTA power with home video, with the possible exception of A Charlie Brown Christmas.

 

I saw The Great Pumpkin in Riverside, California, along with a bunch of other tribute bands. One of the best drum solos ever!

As for Charlie Brown...eh, I got tired of Lucy always pulling the football away and Charlie always falling for it. What a more-on! That gag got old and stupid. I can't wait for "roll your own" technology where I can make my own version, where he kicks her in the @ss and then sells her meat to cannibal tribes

There is a non-Peanuts Schultz book of religious cartoons, quite funny.
