Here's Taylor in her natural look, very nice if I do say so. First time I saw this video I didn't even recognize her, ha...

Her joint venture with The Civil Wars duo, Safe & Sound, from The Hunger Games soundtrack:

I love it. At the very least it’s five billion times better than Bob Dylan’s Tempest!

The newspaper print is unflattering. It would be a decent cover without it.

Looking forward to this , just in time for the Aussie summer . Hoping for more pop with a touch of Red thrown in .

I really like the cover- I think it's visually striking. Can't wait to actually hear the music. :)

My daughter is a huge fan, so I heard 1989 a great deal and have learned to respect her talent. I suspect the new album will be a merging of that sound with her earlier rootsy sound, if such a thing is possible.

Well, she will be turning 28 this year. Maybe she'll finally begin to write songs that don't sound like they were written by a 13 year old.

Indeed, that's what that cover looks like. White trash with a gangsta sheen. Yuck. Please don't let the music match.

Wasn't "White Trash With A Gangsta Sheen" the name of Vanilla Ice's second album? :)

I found a couple of her old country songs listenable but the few of her recent pop songs I have heard have been terrible and like you say sound like they were written by and for 13 year olds.

    This is funny.
(Like "Blood on the Tracks" !!!)
Do you mean Dylan's " Blood on the Tracks", # 16 of Rolling Stone's Top 100 Albums of All Time ?
Because ,if it is, this is Bob Dylan ...
An impossible comparison ,in my opinion.

I don't see what the issue with the comparison was? He wasn't commenting on whether Swift's album would be as good as Dylan's, just the nature of it. Bob Dylan wasn't the first or last to make an autobiographical album.
