The UK 2CD EMIs are the equivalent of the US 2CD Castles. Some minor differences in track positioning, artwork and package. Mastering too, as it seems from the table.
I have learnt something new! I didn't realise the 2 cd sets were EMI, i don't recall then be available in the UK though, we had the first Ten Years instead my memory serves me well!
I have the Capitols for everything up to Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son except I have the EMI for Piece Of Mind. So I can give the log for the Capitols.
I sold off every album up through FotD on Capitol (except for PoM and Killers, which I had EMI copies of) after I got all the 2 CD Castle ones. They sounded the same to me, so I kept the Castle ones. The artwork was the same except for they boxed out text that was on the original inserts - obviously scanned from the previous CD inserts. I think the Capitol discs were of higher quality (some of my Castles are finicky with players) but the bonus discs are nice, and nothing was cut out. With FotD, they actually added a photo.
OK, let's move on to Killers. Here's the info on the CP32 and the Castle 2CD. I am not putting the matrix of the Castle, as it is damn long and I doubt there are differences among matrices for the Castle series.

It might be a bit confusing because the first 2 albums have different UK/US tracklists, the US having one additional song. So if the levels of certain CD match all songs for the US release, they refer to it. Notice how for the UK release there's one empty cell, the last one, because it has one track less than the US release. This should make it more clear:

The numbers aren't used to tell how a CD sounds, but they are used to help determine whether CDs of the same title have either 1) different or 2) identical masterings. This can be helpful when, say, it's discovered that a hard-to-find (or expensive) CD with a preferred mastering has the same mastering as a more "common" (and probably less expensive) CD. *preferred being used subjectively here

Oops! On both the details I posted from my EMI 2CD copies of s/t and Killers (quoted above), I got one line wrong: Where it says "Manufactured", it should say "Marketed"! I was reading sideways off the artwork and my eyes jumped from one line to the next... sorry! I'm not sure anyone would die if I didn't post this correction, but I thought I should set the record straight because you never know...
