The Brian Wilson Productions CD

I just saw a Japanese import of this CD at a store. I know it's been around awhile, but this copy had at least new cover graphics to match that new Beach Boys Classics CD. Any word on the sonics vis a vis the older issue?

P.S. - While I was at the store, I picked up copies of the Millenium (Mastersound) Bridge Over Troubled Water and the mono/stereo Bluesbreakers. I would've never guessed these were as good as they are without the tips from here. Thanks!

 

Avoid it like the plague... fake stereo, poor quality mono... sounds like EMI Japan simply ran a copy of the old "Brian Wilson Productions" LP master from 1980 and added Carnie and Wendy's track.

 

Thanks. I think there's a Honeys compilation around -- is that a better source for that material?
