I am playing "taking care of business" by Charlie Rouse. One of the jazzland dates that is orignal, not a repackaged riverside. Interesting because the song called "204" is hi-fly by Randy Weston I think. Maybe he changed the name?

All of those Mingus Atlantic albums are worth their weight in gold, but believe it or not, my favorite Mingus album is Let My Children Hear Music.
Playing "schizophrenia" BNST 84297 Vinyl promo copy. James Spaulding is (yet again) the hero of this recording. A rare musical gift that he and the best players have: you can tell it's them right away. When you hear that bending and wailing alto that soars above the song in that special way, it's got to be Spaulding!
