Finally got mine! What an ordeal. Pre-ordered from Amazon UK in August. Initial shipment didn't make it to me and received notice it was damaged in transit, returned and order cancelled!! Got a good price initially and was reordered but never shipped. Stuck in the twilight zone and cancelled and re-ordered by Amazon 4 times before it finally shipped. At least they paid for express courier to finally get it for me almost two months after its release. Got to love that pre-order system, but I think the Canadian postal strike also played into it.

This clip along with disc 4 of VGPS SDE really makes you realise how much promotion The Kinks did in 1968 around VGPS. It must have been incredibly deflating for the album to not chart after the hard work in making it and all the extra promotion work.

 

BMG finally returned my email. They wanted my postal address and I gave it to them. Merry Christmas, all!

 

No reply to my email other than the automatic reply, but I did provide my mailing address in my original email.

 

I emailed them my details six weeks ago and still nothing. Is BMG a large company? How many other people are still waiting to receive the missing item from this expensive box set?

 

Wonder if someone who got theirs could just scan and post it for us?
