This morning I had an email from 'The Kinks' (BMG music) which I thought others would find of interest, especially as we approach the festive season:

The official music video for The Kinks' much loved Christmas song "Father Christmas" has been remastered from the original tapes in High Definition. Originally released on the 25th November 1977, the song has been a staple of the Christmas season since its release and has notably been covered by artists including Green Day, Smashmouth, OK Go and many more. Very nice! I just found the Vevo Holiday Channel but it's mostly Bieber and Buble. This is what I want to see.

 

I don't know why the BMG email claimed it's a "new HD video" when the link is 4 years old. Still, it's a great clip.
