My 45 was missing the lyric sheet then a few years ago it showed up in a charity shop with it along with the Plastic Surgery Disasters LP. A great result, pity I already had it!
Funny how things happen. I went for a long time without seeing an original Dead Kennedys album. Then in the span of two months 3 graced the used bins: In God We Trust, Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death, and Bleed For Me.
Bruce Hornsby and The Range-Every Little Kiss, 1/09/86 Germany @45 A-Every Little Kiss (Album Version) B1-The Way It Is (Instrumental Remix) B2-The River Runs Low, a completely different version than the album. Thinking this is the first 'mix' found on the early release. Then slowed down for the re-issue. This one has drums/percussion.
Oh my! I'd have to go WAY back to 1986! I had a 12" EP by Emerson Lake and Powell. Side A was "Touch and Go". Side B had "Learning to Fly" and an instrumental version of "The Locomotion".
Perfect Water - Blue Oyster Cult. I listened to the song on YouTube last night and noticed the line "and I roll seven on the floor of the sea" was repeated compared to the 12" single, so of course I had to listen to it. The 12" version is only 7 seconds shorter, so it appears that's the only difference. Blue Oyster Cult: Perfect Water - YouTube
I don't think it's on CD or digital elsewhere - laugh all you want, but what else are 12"ers for? Silver Connection - "Get Up and Boogie" Dig that funky bass and clavinet (seriously)!
Mine was dumped decades ago Hut But I can imagine, as even the 7 inch is a hellava nice sounding cut.
Jeff Beck - Beck's Bolero (UK RAK 12") A dream come true to have THE greatest rock instro of all time on a 12 incher. I wish the song had taken up the whole side instead of being shared with the useless album version of Rock My Plimsoul but beggars can't be choosy
