The latest episode of the dramedy; Mr. Inbetween, was laugh out loud funny! Besides that, a cool moment for this geek happened. He's killing time while on a stake-out with idle chatter. They get into a rating-the-actors who've played James Bond. They go back back and forth with their differing opinions and as a viewer, you can't help but get sucked into the conversation, because of course, everybody has a favorite Bond! After they exhaust the subject, he asks; "best Batman?". Him, his partner, and ME, and now probably YOU all said the same word at the same time; "KEATON!!!"
Snake City. Our South African snake heroes are back. A couple of scary ones last night. And before that, they had the scariest close call ep from last season. A huge black mambo suddenly rose up and very nearly caught the guy in the arm. He was shaking when it was done, and he'd been doing this forever.

Patrick Melrose. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as a heroin addict who goes to NYC to collect his father's ashes. Incredible soundtrack (Heart of the City by Nick Lowe played over the closing credits of the first episode)
If you like hour long monologues spoken at 250mph it's the show you've been waiting for. It's also extremely heavy in its subject matter. I'm prepared to watch a couple more episodes.

Patriot Finished Season 2, very weird but in a good way. I liked the mood of the episodes, funny but no slapstick, dark and sad but often in the form of lyrics of an impromptu song. I liked it very much.
