I just started on the first go of Peter Gunn (that 1958-61 NBC/ABC jazz-flavored detective series w/the late Craig Stevens in the title role), from Timeless' all-in-one DVD.
WH13 is AWESOME! My dad and I were just talking about pulling out our dvds and re-watching the series soon. (I've also been pushing him to watch my Firefly dvds too )
Mastermind Australia. A guy was doing Springsteen, he was coming third but won it on the general knowledge The Chase UK Punk (Canada) last episode Nirvana etc
Tom Lehrer on PBS. Now I need this show from Copenhagen in '68. The man was a polymath, just wickedly funny.
Alfred Hitchcock Presents; I have the first couple seasons on DVD, and saw many of the show (and of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour) on TV many many years ago (as in around 30) But now some of the episodes are free on the Peacock Channel on cable I just saw three I don't recall ever seeing, I looked for the highest rated ones on IMDB; Bang! You're Dead (S7, E2) - Billy Mumy doesn't know the gun he's got is not a toy and the bullets are real too. What will happen? The Right Kind Of House (S3, E23) - starring the guy who was the Man In A Hurry from the Andy Griffith Show (my fave episode of that series) and the woman who played Granny Hart in Jess-Belle (The Twilight Zone). Very interesting, both of these were good, very good, but... Man With A Problem! (S4, E7) - MAGNIFICENT! Fantastic, incredible! (starring Gary Merrill of All About Eve fame, with Elizabeth Montgomery as his wife) Best ending in the WORLD! ha ha ha!!!!!! (I wish they were all that great; I have to see more. I see not all the series episodes is up there, but I'm gonna look for more great ones like that, if ANY are that great!) (They have some of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour up there too)
