'Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers' from Freaks and Geeks. Such a good episode with some great music(except for Nick's). BTW, you know you're old when you think Millie's mom is hot.
Mother Father Son. Weird British show with Richard Gere asa a newspaper publisher who can influence the UK elections but ends up dealing with his highly dysfunctional family. Marcella. Marchella's a cop who has blackouts and wakes up after acting increasingly more violent Luther (season 5) Luther has to deal with increasingly violent and insane people and the only possible solution is more violence.
Not really a TV show per 'se but since they were aired within the context of "The Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner Show", etc., I watched some Looney Tune cartoons.
Disco and Dragons - the last episode of Freaks And Geeks(on CBC Gem). A bittersweet trip down memory lane. Only the second time I've seen it, a few observations-after 20 years-: In the 70s, in high school, we were treated to Zeffirelli's Romeo & Juliet on a larger screen. BTW, one of the most beautiful movies ever made. I really liked the move of Daniel to the AV club. Though I have never played D&D, & don't understand how the game works-understatement-, it made Daniel a much more sympathetic & hopeful character than I ever thought. The 'Sarah' character seems to be really in love with Nick, until the last bit, when she basically deserts him. Nick loses again. Lindsay seems to have found her place at last, but it echoed for me the Happy Days episode where Richie wants to join the Beatniks(some 26 years earlier). Some sober advice prevails -there- in the end...
puts me in mind of the 2019 sitcom 'Bless This Mess' that got cancelled after only one season. It's too bad, the show was just starting to pick up some momentum.
