Press Your Luck Game show...current (not 1980s) version on Game Show Network. Don't know if that's even run on there; never watch it.
I just discovered this show and binged on it till I made it to the season finale last week. I’m hoping a new season comes sooner rather than later.
The Streets of San Francisco; on DVD Finishing up season 2, Season 3 was delivered today from Amazon by USPS on a Sunday, go figure.....
It's gonna be a long wait my friend. Be like a gold fish and watch reruns. Pretty sure they haven't started filming season 2, but they have been green lit for a third season already. Barbecue sauce!
The Rockford Files, Season 2: Portrait of Elizabeth. One of my favourites of the 38 episodes I've watched so far, because it has lots of Beth Davenport (Gretchen Corbett) in it! EG.
The Comey Rule on Showtime. It was very well done...but so depressing to relive those days...and their aftermath.
The Split (season 2) A mother and two of three daughters run a law firm specialising in divorce. Total female fantasy. All the men are either complete and utter bastards, blithering idiots or gay but after two episodes I'm hooked.
Devils Premiere, Ep. 1 Sky tv series; picked up by the CW. I never watch the CW. I'd thought the CW is for teeny-booper fare; this is not. I'd say it's about corporate espionage & intrigue. - Now, I see it's billed as a financial thriller. It's already been green-lit for a 2nd season in Europe. I doubt it'll get that here, at least not on network tv. From 1st episode, I don't think it will make the low standards set for U.S. network television to get another season; plus, I like it & it seems like a well-acted, intelligent series = so, probably kiss of death. Maybe after this season it'll be picked up by a cable network or one of the streaming networks. In any event, I hope to continue to enjoy this season. Lead actor is doppleganger for Jamie Dornan ("Christian Grey"/50 Shades Of Grey films). Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy) is part of the cast; though show revolves more around the Jamie Dornan lookalike role. There's additional international ensemble cast of both younger & older international cast members; filmed in London & Rome. "The series premiered on 17 April 2020 on Sky Atlantic in Italy. Ahead of its premiere, the series was renewed for a second season.[3] The series premiered on 17 April 2020 on Sky Atlantic in Italy.[10] It premiered on 18 April 2020 on OCS in France.[11] It premiered on 16 September 2020 on W Network in Canada.[12] It will premiere on 7 October 2020 on The CW in the United States.[13][14]"
Soulmates on AMC ~ Co-created by Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) and Will Bridges (writer of Black Mirror episodes Shut Up and Dance and USS Callister. Takes place *15 years in the future. - "A slickly filmed, intriguing spin on the evergreen questions of commitment, monogamy and how well you can ever know another person." Saw Malin Ackerman listed in cast, so I tuned in, but didn't realize the show is vignettes. She wasn't in this episode. Google'd after & she's in Episode 5. I tuned in @ Episode 2 as it was airing; figured I'd catch up on Ep. 1 another time. I enjoyed the episode some; not raves - ironically David Costible as one of the leads. Both he & Malin Ackerman are in Billions. Other than *future touches, plot was pretty formulaic..no big surprises, just some small details. I enjoy suspense/thrillers; however, in smaller doses than so much of entertainment media now. Ep. 2 trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTDLDqnLK0k - Season 1 trailer - If I'd watched that first, I would have known it was vignettes. Oh well. Season is just 6 episodes. I may view more, depending on each particular storyline, but I won't go out of my way to view it, either.
Binge watching The West Wing - I wanted to watch a sane government. Sadly I have to find it in Fiction.
