Dead To Me - Season 2 Episode 8 It Had To Be You "Jen feels conflicted over a real estate deal. The damage from Charlie's joyride piles up. Judy reaches out to Michelle and runs into Detective Perez." Episode 9 - It's Not You, It's Me "Filled with guilt and regret, Jen finds a civic-minded way to unleash some pent-up feelings. Judy revisits her past. The police uncover a new lead." Season 2 much improved once more of the other characters rounding out the cast made appearances - for me, as good as Christina Applegate (Jen) & Linda Cardalinni (Judy) are, that 2-character study limps along after awhile. It picked up several episodes earlier, getting to the meat & potatoes.
Had never heard of it before. Checked out trailer & it looks good! + I like Ron Livingston & Will Sasso...thanks for posting it!
Grey's Anatomy It was a double episode of shows during Season 2! Episode 16 - It's The End Of The World "The lives of everyone in the OR are threatened when a patient enters with a bomb inside him, and a young paramedic with her arm inside the cavity is the only thing keeping it from going off." Episode 17 - As We Know It "While the man with the bomb lodged in his chest remains in Burke's OR with Meredith's hand in the cavity, Bailey's injured husband remains in Derek's. Meanwhile, Bailey's distress puts her unborn baby at risk." Spoiler Really made it so abundantly clear what a downturn the show has taken lately, especially this season...first I've watched of complete episodes during this season 17 (wow! hadn't realized it was that long), after viewing only partials of some of them - I don't care for the storylines this season & episode 9 which had Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) in a fever dream from her catatonic state - I left it after about 5 minutes.
Dave's World - Season 3 Episode 16/ Fame Patrick Warburton's in this Season, but can't find any pix w/him w/ rest of cast. "A local advertising campaign turns Dave into a celebrity. But soon, Shel and Kenny feel alienated when Dave forgets a prior commitment that he made to them both."
No problem. It balances dark comedy and some serious themes quite well. The fact that the main character was a music critic makes for some interesting music discussions from time to time, though the focal point is more on recovery. Being in recovery myself for many years now, I find the jokes relating to that to be particularly funny. And yeah, I love Will Sasso and many of the lesser known actors are very funny here too.
Much more obvious now. On a side note Vic Mizzy I think wrote the theme song for Addams family. And Green Acres as well.
