The Weakest Link last night until I was interrupted by the useless neighbors across the street and their fireworks. I then had to put on some music to drown that noise out. The show was a repeat I had already seen anyway. Anyone notice that most shows are repeats now? They don't even indicate the shows as repeats anymore. Instead, if it's not a repeat, it says "All New".
Twin Peaks (1989) - I purchased the Complete Series box set during the last Amazon sale so that I watch the third season. It has been interesting to start over from the beginning for the first time in 30 years.
The 3rd season of the Umbrella Academy. We're a bit more than halfway through, and overall it's not quite as good as the previous seasons. The family dysfunction is becoming old, and the social commentary that was fairly well handled in the last season feels shoehorned in this season.
House Of Cards (US) The first couple of seasons were enjoyable, the last two were almost unwatchable.
Season 2 of All Creatures Great and Small. Not bad at all if you liked the original series or the book and beautiful scenery.
Boston Legal Season 2, Episode 8: The Fat Ass Jungle - "Denise defends the top Boston plastic surgeon, who is sued for injecting fat from his butt into his patients. Shirley has problems handling a case involving an Alzheimer's patient. Meanwhile Denny undergoes an MRI, while Alan has night terrors and asks his new secretary to guard him at night."
Generation Gap, a hilarious new game show that shows how much kids and their grandparents know about each other.
I'm somewhere in Season Three, I think, and but for my viewing buddy and the general quality of BREAKING BAD, I would have bailed by now. They really draw things out in a very deliberate way. So far, it's so slow and unimaginative, another legal soap opera.
