I finished season 3 of Travelers on Netflix last night. Sort of an open-ended ending, but sadly, there won't be a 4th season.
I went to sleep to a horrible new episode of "Saturday Night Live" and I woke up around 4 am to "Dennis The Menace", also terrible. One day when that Rectrum bill shows up I'll finally wake up to the real and dump that damn crappy cable company! I will admit to catching the PBS run of that new Mr. Rogers documentary earlier last night and that was pretty good and I'm not even a fan of that show. It had me laughing one minute and crying the next!
Naked Ambition A bit like meeting nude then dressing and going on a date. I gave up when a young man overly enthusiastically told his date (thinking it was impressive) how stoked he was to see Justin Beiber in concert and have him look at him.
Just watched some Love Boat - much better than I thought it would be. Fun show and a solid cast of characters
Finished "Dogs of Berlin" season 1. It's grubby and interesting, but at times, you feel the writers are a little too much in love with their own cleverness.
Good Sunday night! watched the 1st 2 episodes of 'I Am The Night' - excellent! True Detective SMILF Black Monday Crashing Good stuff!
We watched the final episode of King of the Hill tonight. I got all 13 seasons on DVD last September and we have watched the entire series since then. Wonderful show. It was especially great during the first half but it never got really bad. Plus, later seasons add Tom Petty as Lucky and he's great. I'll miss going to Arlen every night during dinner. I've also watched Derry Girls four times through now on Netflix. I love it so much. I can't wait for second season episodes.
Funny You Should Ask - a funny game show where comedians give funny answers to trivia questions then give their real answer. My girlfriend and i have been recording it every day and watching it at night. Airs twice a day.
I just binged watched the series over the last few days. She was born in Chicago, but raised until age 11 in London, and has lived in both countries most of her life. That's fair enough. I'd have no problem watching it with any kids 15 or older. They're teens, confused, trying to define themselves. Especially with Maeve's friend. Even the music is done by a gender bending musician, Ezra Furman. Just not for the easily offended.
Yeah, "King of the Hill" is great... I own seasons 1-6, and season 13... I need to pick up the rest...
Just finished watching The Comic Strip "Bad News" episodes. Pretty hilarious heavy metal mockumentary. I especially liked the scene where they were arguing over who got to pretend to be Pete Townshend as they got into smashing their hotel room up.
