    I loved it too

Give me mindless entertainment anyway over boring dramatic drama any day of the week.

I saw it last year, front row. It was fun and thrilling.

It was actually the 4th or 5th row.. I don't remember hehe. The theater was full. I live in Indonesia. People here, they don't really care about Oscar-worthy films. We love blockbuster movies, as long as the movie's good. :)

I saw it months ago. Not very good but entertaining enough to get through.

Meg isn't the type of movie I typically see in the theater. I'm sure the theaters base the coming attractions on the type of movie you're seeing. The coming attractions were so bad, it's the first time I considered walking out based on them alone.

What exactly is “dramatic drama”? Isn’t that a redundant phrase? ;)

For the record, some people I really respect in terms of their opinions here are giving this at least a ‘thumb sideways’ and I’m amazed; it looks absolutely horrible.

I grant you it's no KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park. Maybe they should do a crossover, KISS Meets The Meg. Might be hard to know who to cheer for!:D

My son (18) and watched it a few weeks ago. It was a terrible movie with terrible acting and every trope/cliche possible crammed in. Truly bad. But we sat there and happily watched the entire thing :thumbsup:

Perhaps The Meg and Gene mate and it becomes “The Geg”?

I can see this soon being a $0.99 movie of the week on ITunes.

I thought it was awesome. Worth a full price rental!

It was a very entertaining movie. If I see the DVD at a thrift store, I'll buy it.
