Thanks, guys! I moved on it immediately, with a still working promo code, and it’s ordered. We’ll see how long this latest batch lasts. :goodie:

Well, considering that the last batch made available back in the spring sold out within a week, it'll be fascinating to see how long before it's gone again.

In other words, for anyone who wants a copy, better act fast!

I can't believe I just spent that much money, but I've wanted the series on dvd/bluray for yeeeears, so I decided to just do it. Thanks for posting that it was available again, and thanks for the promo code!

Cool! Thanks! I just grabbed another copy for a friend of mine who is low on funds at the moment. He is good for the money. But you just saved me $20!

I'm fairly confident that you won't be disappointed with the set.
The hi-def transfers are stunningly great. The audio is also impressive.
A week doesn't go by, where I don't pull out a disc and watch a episode or two and marvel at how incredible the shows look and sound.
Plus you get Head and 33/3 Revolutions to boot!
The bonus disc has some great footage as well.
The lenticular cover never fails to put a smile on my face either.
As you can see, there is much to recommend regarding this set.

I'm so tempted to pick up a back-up copy, just because I'd be crushed if anything happened to my lone copy.

I am actually average (maybe a little below average) income
the Holiday season was just something , we went big on, in my family
I was raised Jewish & Catholic , so it was just something we did
I can still remember my father pulling double shifts , back to back , in Oct/Nov
just so we could celebrate the Holiday Season in a big way

These might have been the sets left over from Micky's merch table last year and/or they found some more in storage to sell.

I'm fairly sure my mother will kill me where I stand tomorrow when she sees that I've bought the Monkees Blu-ray but I really think I need it.

I hate to be That Guy, but here goes...

This is a long thread and I’m not able to read through it all right now. Is there anything about the first DVD release that is an advantage over the Blu-ray release? Different content? Something more original? Anything?

Jerry Lee Lewis' 17 second snippet of "Whole Lot Of Shakin' Goin' On" is included in the Rock Medley in 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee on the 1997 DVD, while it is excised from the 2016 Blu-Ray version due to licensing refusal.

Commentary tracks on the Criterion Collection version of Head differ from those on the Blu-Ray.

I don't know about more, hope others can chime in.

The Easter Eggs from the DVD set did not make it to the Blu-ray set.

So, first get a CRSF Mismatch on my phone, then the desktop version hangs, then my phone logs me out of my phone the second I click off my account page?

Finally got it, just had to do it on my phone with PayPal as a guest.

I did apply the promo code, so I saved $20 too!!

Same here BDude. I learned this the last time I ordered from them, so I just went to PPal this time and the order went through first time.

Now it's going to be fun to see how many days it takes for them to sell out of this allotment.
But a Great Christmas Present to those who still wanted the Blu Ray Box!!!!
    Thank You Santa!!!!:righton::wave::goodie::cheers::frog:

Now I just need to buy a 10 disc case for it and a Blu-Ray player, LOL

But that's next week's problem...not that it will be here by then!
