Same Thorens new slate plinth. My amps in the shop so I'm not sure if it's an upgrade or not. Will soon find out.
Nottingham Analogue Horizon SE Rega RB250 w/Pete Riggle Heavy Counterweight Ortofon 2M Black Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.
Normally I lurk in the shadows, but here's me: Magic Eraser - check Clicker counter - check (thanks for the suggestion, ElizabethH) Zerostat gun Shure stylus gauge Flamin' Groovies CD Etc... Almost a stereotype.
Hi All, newby here with my first post. Seeing as I love tt's, I figure this was appropriate. Nottingham Horizon SE, then Opera Die Walkure, Thorens TD160
thanks very much. It's been a lot of fun customizing these tables. The pic of the Thorens doesn't really look right as it's finished in Candy brandywine where it looks black, and the Opera is now high gloss black. Post#59 is exactly what my Nottingham looked like when I got it. The walnut finish is just airbrushed.
Wow all three are beauties! I just read your equipment profile ... Do you own stock in Grant Fidelity? If not, you should!
Unfortunately no stocks. Lol, Ian and Rachel (Grant Fidelity owners) have become friends though and that's worth more than stocks! I've had the good fortune of learning a lot from them and managed to elevate the sound of my system dramatically over the past couple years.
I love this picture ... I have the same TT (in white as well), but the vibe of your room with the Eames Lounge Chair (I think?), reflection off the console, etc. = COOL!
Hello Guy! It's nice to finally meet someone with a Nottingham Analogue Horizon SE. I thought for a while I was the only one (see Post #59 above). I love the Walnut finish on yours and what arm/cartridge do you have on there?
America - Homecoming (Friday Music FRM 9013) This time it's America on Friday Music. Quite lovely actually and I find no fault with this reissue.
We have the same rack, I love it, 104lb monster with gorgeous amounts of space between shelves. On mine is a Goldring GR-2 hooked up to a Parasound Zphono preamp.
