I saw them on the Synchronicity tour as well-Feb 1984 in Greensboro. I know they were fighting like cats and dogs during this album, and it almost didn't happen, but I'm sure there is a lot of great footage of them recording. As much as Andy and Stewart filmed (and took pics) there has to be a treasure trove of them in the studio laying down tracks.

And I'd like a Klark Kent deluxe as well.

Found this today. Most of these clips I've already seen but there are a few things in here that I hadn't.

I would welcome well mastered hi-res versions of the catalog. None of it ever sounded right on CD to me. That’s about as far as my interest goes though. If they can include bonus tracks… cool. If they want to do vinyl remasters that can actually improve on the original somehow (that’s a tall order) I’d be in too, but my expectations are low.

I saw the Synchronity tour and the 2008 tour. They played and were a lot more rockin in the 80s.

I think an expanded message in a box set would be perfect. Add 1 more cd of stuff that was missed 25 years ago, and a dvd/blu ray of promotional videos and select key live performances.

A five disc Lp set for $190? Maybe a couple of live sets tossed in, bit still that’s a lot green..

My guess is it's the original 5 LPs + the two double live LPs.

This could be great news, other than for the fact I splashed out on some costly Police vinyl on Discogs earlier this week to upgrade my current Police collection. Guess I should have waited. That said these guys are way overdue a nice career-spinning box set. A bloody great band. I’m keeping my fingers crossed this is a high quality set with something new thrown in.

If that’s the case, and the quality is on a par with the recent half-speed master of Ghost In The Machine, then that would be a great outcome.

Yes, especially Outlandos could use a proper mastering on vinyl, the OG pressings are not much to write home about.

I'll welcome, even buy, a new CD box, as long as the 1979 live set from Hatfield Polytechnic is included on an audio CD and its all properly (not loudly) remastered.

If they can at least manage to swing that, then they can expect some simoleons bearing my smudge.
