stunning to say the least. several rare songs or songs not played that often. I need to try and see this tour for sure. "escape", "raped and freezing", "roses on white lace", "bed of nails", "my stars "and "teenage frankenstein". plus "steven" which to me doesn't seem to get overplayed as much as some tunes from the nightmare album. I don't see any of the longer songs though

I'll be seeing Alice later today. In the evening to be exact. Decided to search this board to see if anyone has been discussing the tour. Pretty excited, as I've never seen Alice live before!

He also have a new stage (build like the pinball machine he released) and a new show with some other props.
Very positive reviews on the net.
I'll see him in oktober in Tilburg (the Netherlands).

I’m gutted I missed out in tickets for either Cardiff or Birmingham. I was too late to get tickets for his last UK tour and only heard about these dates last week but it seems they’ve been on sale since Feb

Caught him on the Raise Your Fist And Yell tour with Kane Robert's on guitar and Kip Winger on Keyboards . Played most of these songs. Phenomenal.

I hope you have a blast! I’d love to hear some feedback when you get time. My wife got us tickets/hotel for my 50th birthday, neither of us have seen Alice before and we are super excited. Just a couple more weeks for us.

It was a total blast! Awesome setlist and stage show! Alice sounded great! Outside of a few personal favorites I'd like to have had added to the set, I can't complain at all! Stellar show! :righton:

so in the last decade or so alice has busted out some rarely played tunes. we know his career is going to end sooner rather than later. what are some songs he has never played or hasn't played in a long time you'd like to see him play?

here is a list of the songs he has busted out 2005-present that are rarely played so probably wouldn't mention any of these tunes you want him to pull out. this is not including songs he was playing for albums that were newly released from 2005-present
    -house of fire
    -hey stooped
    -bed of nails
    -teenage Frankenstein
    -roses on white lace
    -raped and freezing
    -my stars
    -escape
    -grim facts

songs I'd want alice to play before his career ends. a lot of them were played since 2000. here is whats left

    1 black juju
2 teenage lament '74 (though it was played in the 90's and made a live album)
    3 some folks
4 you and me (I'd take a medley of his 70s hit ballads)
5 how you gonna see me now (I'd take a medley of his 70s hit ballads)
    6 I love America
    7 pass the gun around
8 the great American success story
    9 freedom
    10 only my heart talkin
    11 why trust you
12 might as well be on mars
    13 hurricane years
    14 love's a loaded gun
    15 die for you
    16 stolen prayer
    17 it's me

We saw Alice this past weekend and he BLEW us away! He played tons of his hits, Poison, No More Mr. Nice Guy, Teenage Frankenstein, Billion Dollar Babies, Steven, Bed of Nails, Schools Out and on and on! And he sounded FANTASTIC! I was in my horrible singing, head banging glory for an hour and a half! It was awesome to see all the folks older than me (50) there. One old guy even needed to be walked to his seat, lots of old Vets, lots of people you would never expect to see there were. And Alice didn’t disappoint any of us.

Halestorm and Motionless in White were the other bands. Lots of Halestorm fans there, but they were not my wife and my cup of tea. I enjoyed them, wouldn’t buy a record. But Motionless in White got me rocking hard. Never heard of them, gonna buy some of their albums cause I liked what they were playing.

If you get the chance to see Alice, DO IT! He’s a legend, he’s (sadly) not getting any younger and he can STILL ROCK!! Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Just for fun, whip out something from Zipper or DaDa. I can't recall any live performance of any kind for those songs. Not even TV appearances. Make That Money would be a choice, in a medley with I Love America. Plus, it would be cool to hear some of those DaDa tracks with real drums.

Does he ever do You and Me or How You Gonna See Me Now in concert? I can't stand that hard rock crap but his ballads are great.

    Well
Well hard rock is kind of his bread and butter and what the crowd wants. He hasn't performed either song in decades but he's done Only Women Bleed both times I've seen him
