No Bone Movies, but I still like it. Great guitar and great song.

"No Bone Movies." It's not a bad song, but its probably the weakest of the bunch. The lyrics also make it kind of hard to take seriously.

This is actually a bit of a fascinating subject for me -

"Mo Bone Movies". I still listen to it too but it was always my least favorite and then I read how it was actually the last song recorded and specifically meant to be only a B-side. However, the band decided ARTER recording it to take "You,Looking at Me, Looking at You" off the album. I wish they didn't. You can even see in the Ozzy 30th anniversary box set DVD a close up of the master tape box and the latter song is listed after Mr. Crowley", not "No Bone Movies"!

I love the guitar work in YLAMLAY. Great solo and 3 great mini solos that introduce each verse. Bob Dailsey has recently in hindsight questioned their decision as to making NBM the album track instead. I much prefer YLAMLAY. I thought NBM sounded much better live with that cool outro they did than the studio version.

There's actually the original B-side mix of NBM floating around. Vocals mixed quite differently and the guitar a bit too. Also, no gang backups towards the end. Where those vocals are there were instead some explicit female sounds. They must have figured the backup vocals were a bit more album friendly. There's also 2 mixes of YLAMLAY (3 if youi include the 2002 version with re-recorded bass and drums).

No Bone Movies came to mind as soon as I read the title. It's not a bad song, but it's one that I don't mind skipping when playing Blizzard of Ozz.

Did the 2002 version inadvertently end up on the 2010 expanded remaster? The bass guitar is still way up in the mix and does not sound like Daisley.

No Bone Movies is the only remotely weak track. Everything else is 10/10.

I don't think there are any weak tracks but I picked No Bone Movies.

I'm burned out on Crazy Train but it is still a great song.

"Crazy Train" - it's one of those songs I never want to hear again for the rest of my life.

It's one of the two mixes with the original band. The same mix was on the Japan-only releases "Prince Of Darkness" 1984 EP and "The Other Side Of Ozzy Osbourne" 1985 LP. Only the 2002 has the re-recorded version. Unless some were 2010's pressed wrong as mine definitely don't have the 2002 version.

The original 1980 7" UK B-side mix I think sounds by far the best. It doesn't have the cowbell in the chorus like the other versions (I guess someone said "I need more cowbell!") and Randy's guitars sound more up front.

I still think "Steal Away" is the weakest link.

YLAMLAY is a great song, but I feel it sounds kind of unfinished. I see why it was left off. NBM is more of a compete tune, and works on the album better. Both great, though.

Heh, Daisley's farty bass sound is epic and always will be :D. No, for me, I generally hate ballads and GtR kind of qualifies as one. I've just never liked the song. At least "No Bone Movies" rocks.

You can say you never want to hear it again, but to say it is the "weakest track on the album" is absolutely absurd.
