Is this interesting? Three needle-drops from the same passage from Rite Of Spring. The same hardware, but totally different recordings. Different conductors, different halls, etc. Is anyone better than another?

at first i thought you were talking about the post-punk band rites of spring... a seminal album in the d.c. hardcore/dischord catalog

I'm not listening to your bits, althoughI love the idea of this thread, I don't feel I would know who was playing. Try Boulez that one and Solti.

I like number 2 the best. Sounds more menacing and aggressive with lots of energy and bite.

It just hit me that parts of the musical piece was used in the computer game, Earth 2150!
