Just received my Santana 'Lotus' Japan mini-lp...I could never afford this until now (and I missed it when CDUniv. had it mis-priced). $42 shipped. Still pricey, but what an exceptional package. Thanks to the original posters for mention of the sale and discount codes!!

 

Well, I ended up bitting the bait this time with the 15% code. I ordered two boxes; Fats Waller complete recordings vol 2 (4CDs) and Satchmo autobiography (3CD) for 42 bucks including tax. Not a bad deal after all. Thanks for posting the updated code!

is anyone else getting orders in GIANT boxes though?
I just got 4 CD's in a box that could have fit 2 phone books.
Last time I ordered, I got 2 CD's in a box that could have fit 75 LP's.
Seems like a waste to me.

I wish. The first two shipments I have recieved were in tidy little cardboard containers which are no bigger than the contents.

 

The Online Sale + coupon was a good deal. Good service so far too. Last year or year before I jumped on their online sale plus coupon... got lots of Living Stereo titles. Did a bunch of AP & AF hi-rez this time. Hello CCR!

 

Well, they were great deals if Tower does come through. One of the five discs I ordered has arrived. The rest showed "Special Order" or "Low Stock" and have been relegated to "Backorder" status

 

5 of 7 recieved so far for me. The only ones that are backordered are an Alan Parsons HDAD which nobody anywhere has in stock, and for some odd reason a common HD DVD of Casino.

 

Both of the boxes I ordered are showing as shipped, even though one was a special order.

 

Well, kick me in the rear. Tower just sent an email saying the last of my orders have shipped:

I'm assuming the Blue Train will be a HDAD too, but we'll see. Not bad for under $13 shipped each!

 

I got 8 of 12... (all 12 were instock or lowstock when I sent the order ... ). I noticed 2 are onhand now and 2 still special order.
Hopefully they send the 2 if they can't get them all.

Six of the 14 CDs that I ordered (all Ace) were backordered ... even though they showed Low Stock when I ordered them ... just checked ... and the 6 are still showing Backordered ...

Yesterday Tower delivered on all my outstanding orders. Most surprisingly were two Classic HDADs. One had said "special order", while the other was low stock.

 

Thanks ... Sam ... still no word from Tower ... but I am optimistic since all of my items are "still in print" ...

 

Which ones were those? I have a Classic HDAD that I'm still waiting for.

 

Blue Train and Somethin' Else. Somethin' Else was correctly listed as HDAD, but Blue Train only said DVD-A. So, I was taking a bit of a risk that they would ship the old DAD version. Both were HDAD, under $13 each shipped. I'm a happy camper.

 

Yesterday I received 4 of my 6 backordered CDs ... with no prior notice (I usually get an email letting me know that my order ... or part of it ... was shipped) ... out of curiosity I checked my account a few minutes ago ... it still shows the 4 CDs that I received as "backordered" ... oh well I am just glad that I got them ...

 

They canceled a couple of my items. No big deal. Sort of changed my mind about these anyway:
