I took the plunge and ordered the box set. Now I'm here waiting for that, all while having with-drawls.

As one amazon reviewer said, "even Ricky could figure out that this is a great deal."

    HAHA! It's so true!

But in reality, it really is a bargain. 7 seasons and a awesome cooler that holds the dvds all for $81.14 + $2.98 to ship.

I still have to check out the movies too. Those will be next.

Love the show! If anyone is interested, the boys are on tour right now with their stand up show. Just saw them in Detroit last night. Very funny!

  6. "Mr. Lahey" and "Randy" also tour in character. I don't know if they cross the border, though.

Loved the series but I thought it went one season too long.

I was just at the November 13th show. WOW!!! I never laughed so much in my entire life. I was literally in pain at the end of the show. It could very well be the funniest thing I have ever witnessed.

After the show we patiently waited outside along side about 10-15 others. We got to meet them, and get autographs. Bubbles is so different out of character it's hard to even recognize him. He was very laid back and mellow. He got a good chuckle out of my friends Bubbles impersonation that is spot on. Ricky and Julian look and act pretty much just like they do on the show :D. All around they seem like cool guys and hung out and took pics and signed stuff for a good 10-15 minutes. It was a amazing night, I still can't believe I got to see them live, let alone meet them. Well worth the 5 hour round trip!

If they ever tour as the boys again, I'm there without a doubt.

At the end of the Detroit performance, they showed a trailer of the new tv show. Bubbles said it is comming soon, and will hopefully be on in the states. On Wikipedia, it says that it's scheduled for the 2010/2011 season on Showcase. A show called 'the drunk and on drugs happy fun time hour' starring the trailer park boys has potential! :D

Haven't heard anything myself. There's some nice clips on youtube of their live act. For example, here's a clip of the Detroit show I was at:

I've been a fan since I saw the original black and white indie movie "One Last Shot" in the late 90s.

My band used to do a pretty mean cover of Bubbles' "Liquor and Whores."

I also played guitar in another band where my stage outfit was loosely based on Randy's "Smokey" persona:

These guys just launched some website and had a pay per view, not sure what happened on it, but I'm sure they were out of control, did anyone watch?
