This may seem weird, but I was a fan of Soul Train around 2000-2006. I really dug the show. It was my weekly escape. One thing that attracted me to the show was the theme song. It was an updated version of MFSB's The Sound Of Philadelphia called TSOP 2000. By Dr Freeze and Samson. I loved how laid back and catchy it was. It hasn't been released to the public which I think is a sin. It plays during the opening here and in the background when Shemar Moore is running down who's on the show. I hope it's released one day.
