Turntable Repair in Tampa Sarasota or Fort Myers Area?

Hello.

Does anyone know of a good place on the Gulf Coast of Florida that can handle turntable repairs? I talking simple stuff like cartridge mounting and alignment. Anywhere in the Sarasota, Tampa, St. Pete, or Fort Myers areas.

My Dad bought a table and has been getting into buying records. He just needs somewhere that will sell and mount a new cart on it. It is a Technics direct drive, I think from the late 80's.

Any thoughts would be welcome.

You could try a Music Store that sells DJ equipment/instruments. If they don't do it, they might know somewhere that does.

I've seen used turntables at Sound Exchange (three locations in the Tampa area): http://soundexchangetampabay.com/ , but don't know if they sell or mount carts. I'd guess if he gets to the right person there, they can at least advise him the best place to have it done.

 

Thanks. He actually just picked up a vintage Marantz receiver at Sound Exchange. That may be worth a call to see if they have someone who can mount a budget cart.
