SCTV is due out on DVD in the next year, IIRC.

IIRC think the first release will be a compilation, followed by season boxes.
Can't find the link right now, sorry.

    1. How many "seasons" of Beavis and Butt-head" were there? Does that even apply? I take it the Time-Life set is not a complete compilation (nor was the re-called HISTORY set)?

    2. Hey, UNDECLARED WAS a good show. Damn FOX, I forgot about that when complaining about the GOOD shows they cancel, only to replace them with crap.

    3. Can't the music industry not be bastards to even their sister industries? Jeez, they used the music once, but now we're gonna reem you for it, despite the fact that your movie or show using our songs will probably help sell more albums.:realmad:

Okay, NOW we're talkin'!! I STILL get a rush when they jump into the Batmobile and say, "Atomic Batteries to power, turbines to speed. Roger, ready to move out." And then the flame shoots out the back and they barrel down the tunnel. Damn! :) Lost In Space Season One is supposed to be out in January if it doesn't get pushed back.

A series no one has ever heard of called "I'm Dickens, Hes Fenster", from 1963 starring John Astin (directly before the Addams Family) and Marty Ingols as Two Not-So-Handy Handymen.

Why isnt this stuff available to download for a reasonable fee?

I don't remember much except that Fenster (Ingels) was a player and kept a little black book. It was a long time ago (1962) but it made me a John Astin and a Marty Ingels fan for life.

I'm hoping now that the first season of Rocky & Bullwinkle is being released next month, I really hope they consider releasing the other Jay Ward produced shows like "George Of The Jungle" and one of my personal favorites "Fractured Flickers". The show was hosted by Hans Conried(a.k.a. Fearless Leader on Bullwinkle) and consisted of silent films that had voices dubbed on by Bill Scott, Paul Frees, and June Foray mostly. It didn't last long in it's original run but I got to see that show when it ran on Showtime during the early 80's and it was a scream!!!

I'd really like to see Dr Katz - Professional Therapist put out on DVD. Comedy Central is starting to release DVD's so maybe there is hope. I picked up the best of Insomniac with Dave Attell and was very pleased.

    Best,

Nice vinyl! Found a nearly unplayed copy locally several years ago for $25, replacing a "well loved" mono. A couple years later, BMG Spain put out a reissue...in a very poor mono version. The theme was penned by Count Basie. :D

The series itself was before my time. I think it was back in the daze of Peter Gunn mania.
