Two lastest 45's from Steve and Kevin are here!

Ben Webster at the Renaissance and Willie Dixon/Memphis Slim with Willie's Blues arrived today. I have Ben Webster on the turntable now, just like sitting at the bar listening. I am heading downstairs for a glass of cheap scotch and a bad cigar.

 

I want to get these too. Report back when the stogie is cold.

 

Mine hasn't come in yet. I just sent a note to Acoustic Sounds to check on the status. I was charged on the 10th and it should be here by now.

That cheap scotch & bad cigar sounds real good! If there's one thing I wish I could do is light one up while listening but alas no cigars allowed inside the house

Mine finally arrived Friday (May 23).
Both have superb sound.
Flawless pressings too.
Musically, however, I find "Willie's Blues" enjoyable but not quite up to par with the rest of the series.
