That CD has 8 out of 10 BTTW songs, so you've heard the majority of it. It think both albums are great. As is Breaker.

You really need to hear Breaker. There are a couple of clunkers on there, but at least half of it is totally awesome, and overall it's definitely on a par with Restless. If you took the best of those two albums, you'd have a 'top 10 of all time' metal album, IMO:

    From Breaker:

    Starlight
    Breaker
    Midnight Highway
    Son Of A Bitch
    Run If You Can

    From Restless:

    Fast As A Shark
    Restless & Wild
    Neon Nights
    Demons Night
    Princess Of The Dawn

I was perhaps a little harsh on Balls, but for me, it was a massive disappointment after the previous two albums. Nothing exciting on there at all. Metal Heart was a return to form, but Balls was just boring IMO.

Thanks. I'll add more later. Hard rock/heavy psych/proto-metal/heavy prog of the early '70's is my listening preference.

It all started in the early '80's when the MTV/MM took control of the music industry with their lame & limp mainstream agenda with synth-pop, new-wave, AOR being the flag ship sub-genres. Being a fan of hard rock, metal and prog at the time I went back to the late '60's/early '70's which I discovered hundreds of new albums. During that time the literature was hard to find about most these rare artists. Goldmine magazine, a local LP dealer, record swap meets and a few books like the first two editions of the Rolling Stone Record Guide, Osborne Record Price Guide and a few others.

Some of it I've discovered through the internet. Some of these artists I thought I would never hear back in the day. That's not the case today.

Awesome I hate getting fed also the stuff that media forces you to listen to and that’s why I don’t ever listen to the radio.im into jazz fusion of the 60s and 70s also and you will never ever hear that stuff ever.

    Bullet For My Valetine
    Dave Edmunds (+ Love Sculpture)

10cc and Thin Lizzy might be well respected in some circles, but I believe: generally still underrated.

Europe, Ratt and Poison are probably hated by most of the forum, but they are great!

Krokus and the Tygers of Pan Tang are two bands that I have always thought should have been a lot bigger than they were/are. Both are still bringing out great albums. In fact I saw the Tygers live in Edinburgh two weeks ago and they were awesome.
