    Nice...........

    Very nice!

I can't imagine spending that much on a turntable.

For $3,200 bucks, it better come with a paper protractor!!! :p

    Bah! :)

If you're spending a few G's on an arm, I'd spend a hundy on a real protcrator.

    That's a nice arm.

Speaking of which, I was reading on VA last night and apparently there is a design flaw in the Clearaudio protractor. Have you heard about that?

Are you talking about the aluminum protractor that sells for approx. $150?
I made my own protractor for my RB-300 arm. I have a CAD program I use at work so it's easy to make one that works exactly with my P3.

Incidentally, I found that after measuring the Spindle to Pivot distance on my P3 that it was 1mm out of spec. so I use a 239mm effective length protractor and it works great. :)

Yeah. That's an excellent idea. There's a few things I need to do hardware-wize that I plan to make better issue with alignment soon.

Actually I use the MFSL Geodisc for a quick alignment. I've also used the paper ones (The one the RB300 comes with has yielded good results).

I'm actually thinking of "gutting" my P3 for a thick butcher block and lots of poly. Haven't decided yet.

What turntable would you install the Graham 2.2 tonearm on? A Clearaudio, or a Basis?

I used my Graham on my old Clearaudio Reference for a while but went back to the TQ1 in the end.

I have heard the Graham is not the easiest arm to set up.

One of the many reasons why I bought an SME V.

Yes, but supposedly it has a pretty sophisticated anti-skate setup and tracks like a dream. I like the gold trim as well.:D

None of the above. I would go for a modified Empire 398 with this one.

Interesting - mating a modern arm with a classic turntable. Have you heard this combo, prix?

Both the Graham and the Tri-Planar are very nice arms, however, this is what came stock on my VPI TNT-HR, and its pretty nice too.
