A bunch of third party sellers on Amazon have the deluxe version of the

Revolutions In Sound: Warner Bros. Records - The First Fifty Years (Deluxe Edition)(Book w/USB Drive) set for around $67 shipped.

    List price is around $220.

I would be interested if it had CDs. But mp3 files on a USB drive doesn't interest me, even at this price. I thought someone else might be interested, though. If anyone has this, perhaps you could comment on the quality of the mp3s (bitrate).

This comes with the book that was also published separately (and which has been available cheaply as a remainder).

  4. The Amazon description indicates 321 songs but I haven't found a track listing yet. Allmusic.com shows 199 for the CD set although I assume that isn't conclusive, just the first 199 and it is a pretty strange mix of music which I guess isn't surprising. The big show opener, "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time" by Tab Hunter. I don't recall ever hearing that one. I don't even own a portable MP3 player although I believe I own several media players with USB drives that can play this drive and I am interested and will try to figure out what is on it and what I can do with it if I buy it. MP3 bitrate would be nice to know and I will track that down first.

  5. Deepdiscount has it with 10 CDs for $4 more.

    Edit:

The 10-CD set is just 199 songs and the USB drive is apparently 321 songs although I am still trying to find the song list.
