Thank you for your reply. I’ll take a listen tonight I think. I think part of it for me is there just isn’t songs I had really heard of that stood out besides Don’t Go Home.
Thank you though for your insight.
    Cheers!

    Rush - Presto.
Has it's highlights but badly undermined by a thin sound.

    Scorpions - Eye II Eye.
I own this solely for completism, but it's awful.

    Thin Lizzy - Black Rose.
One of their best rated albums. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I rarely play it.

The Kills - Ash & Ice
Solid album, lacks a little of the chutzpah of their earlier work.

What's your take on the reunion era stuff with Peter back in the mix (Pool It!, Justus, and Good Times!)?

Black Sabbath - nothing after Ozzy. Not a fan of Dio in any guise and no interest in Gillan with BS. I know where he belongs.

Metallica - gave up after black album, they imho peaked with MOP. Wasn’t a fan of Justice, though I loved the covers they did on b side of Harvester 12” (Breadfan and The Prince). Also loved Garage Days re-revisited. By the Black Album were getting slower and stodgy, with a power ballad for God’s sake (Nothing Else Matters). Haven’t heard anything since to make me feel I’m missing out.

AC/DC - Bon years is where my allegiance lies, even though he was gone before I got into them in early 80’s. For those about to rock I got on release, was in 2 minds, some great tracks, some not so great. Massively excited when Flick of the Switch came out, oh dear what a disappointment. Gave up on them at that point. Heard the odd decent track since but not enough to buy an album.

Zappa - my introduction was Sheik Yerbouti, so lots of albums from that era, fair few early to mid (Hot Rats and Apostrophe being my favourites). Little later stuff. All the Stage albums - definitely felt like diminishing returns by this point.

I don't think I've listened through neither "Angel Band" nor "13" by Emmylou Harris once in the time I've own them. But I own them, because I need a complete collection.

Too Low for Zero is pretty good.
I remember Billy Joel replying to Elton’s comment that BJ doesn’t put out enough albums. BJ replied “well he puts out too many.” :D

Iron Maiden The X Factor and Virtual XI. Did not like Blaze Bayley before Maiden and found him a not suitable choice as vocalist for them so I never even listened to those 2 records.
