What are "Wall Mount Adapter for Rega RP6/RP8/RP10 Turntables"?

Rega - Wall Mount Adapter for Rega RP6/RP8/RP10 Turntables

looking at a wall mount for my RP6 and I don't understand the linked product. Does anyone have this and could they explain it? will my RP6 not sit on the normal Rega wall mount without them?

The RP6 etc. have different spacing between the feet when compared to those that the wall mount were designed for.

There seems to be a difference between their "skeletal" models and others.

 

so my RP6 won't fit on the wall shelf without those adapators?

 

Correct.
They are sold separately and screw onto the frame.
It's the chrome disk and rubber mat I'm pointing at in the photo




They are definitely required on the latest frame. Not sure about the earlier version (think that early frame may predate the RP6 but don't quote me on that).
