For some reason I'm sat here playing Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days Of Summer by Nat King Cole...

I called at a friend's house yesterday and saw the CD in his collection. First time I've heard it since 1963. Utter magic now, but I hated it back then... :)

We like to play classic stuff like Bing, Nat, Dino, Elvis, etc. I have a few comp discs I put together with our faves I will throw in the changer.

My wife and me we're listening to The Little Drummer Boy & The Twelve Days Of Christmas by various artists.

Just yesterday I gave my new Barclay James Harvest 'Gone To Earth' (remastered) a closer listen.

Merry Xmas to all of You!

The chicken is roasting in the oven. It's snowing merrily outside, but I'm not feeling in the least bit Christmassy, so Ultimate Mancini SACD is playing...:)

My wife gave me tons of Miles Davis SACDs for Christams, so hope to spin a couple this morning.

I'll be doing a lot of driving today - I'll just listen to whatever Christmas music is on the radio this morning and afternoon.

Tonight I plan on listening to my new Beatles Capitol Box :righton:

Toronto's classical station is commercial free all day and as I really don't care for modern Xmas music, this is the obvious choice for myself. CFMX @ 96.3, channel 9 I believe.

    All the best, my friends!

I'll probably put on XM when the kids come over, but yesterday, I sort of had an Ultra Lounge Christmas Cocktail marathon (all three CDs), the Rat Pack Christmas, TJB Christmas, Mancini, a compilation of my Bob Rivers favorites, Lisa Ono's holiday-themed "Boas Festas" (a Japanese girl who plays Bossa Nova, sings like Astrud Gilberto), Rhino's Doo-Wop Christmas, Peggy Lee's "Christmas" CD, David Benoit's "Remembering Christmas", and my "Something Festive" compilation (which is A&M's original various artists "Something Festive" with a lot of tracks I added to create an expanded edition).

I'm about to put on Charlie Brown Christmas as I wrap the last of the gifts, and later on will play Brian Setzer's "Boogie Woogie Christmas", the older David Benoit "Christmastime" (pre-GRP days), John Pizzarelli's "Let's Share Christmas", the Manhattan Transfer Xmas CD, Esquivel's "Christmas Cocktails", Carpenters "Christmas Portrait" LP, Beach Boys Xmas LP, and I might even brave Chicago XXV. :D

I'm ignoring dozens of others this year. ;)

VH1 Classic is showing Christmas videos all day. Only thing is, you gotta sit through 5 or 6 dreary ballads in a row to get to something with a little life. Still waiting to see "Christmas Day" by Squeeze.
