I suppose Revolver would have been a reference to a handgun only & instead of Abbey Road it would've been Fifth Avenue or Michigan Avenue with them dodging traffic on the cover.

Few if any parts of the city of Boston are still white working class, but those neighborhoods were very common til the '90s or so.

 

Then Apple would have been set up in the state of Washington.

 

Not sure what the white part has to do with it, to be honest, especially as Liverpool has the oldest and most well established black community in England. Always been a very multicultural city, from long before the Beatles' time. Again, an unusual English city.

Exactly what is the point of your post???
It seems you are trying to imply he's not an American artist?
Yes we are well aware of his ties to the UK and his success there and I think it's was great he used those studios and those connections, and the UK definitely played a role in his success.
That doesn't change the FACT that he's an American artist which is why I posted it in response to the post that stated all the USA had for innovative artists at that time was The Beach Boys and the Doors.
That was the context of my post.

It doesn't matter where he recorded the material, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones recorded a ton of material in the USA would you try and imply they are American?
