New Chicano Batman- Invisible People. Freedom is Free was fantastic and my favorite album the year of its release. Talk about music with a groove and soul to spare.

The Beths' 2018 freshman album was a WOW! moment for me - though SHF Aussies and Kiwis already knew the score - so I couldn't order fast enough after receiving notice of their pending follow-up (July '20). Pop on an empyreal order:

I’m not sure if reissues qualify for this thread. My apologies in advance if this is only for new music but I can’t wait to get these preorders coming in June:

    the Black Crowes -Croweology
    Phish - Junta

I’m still in shock these are getting reissued but dying for June to get here!

Received notification a couple of days ago. (Just opened Discogs e-mail).

    Brendan Benson - Dear Life
    Release Date: April 24, 2020
    Pre-orders available.
He's on new label. Equal part of The Raconteurs w/a successful, solo career/r./pop.

Based on 1st early teaser single, won't be a pre-order from me & I have 3 of his CDs, though I'll keep an open mind.

    I'm looking forward to

The 1975 - Notes On A Conditional Form
The tracks that have been released so far for the most part have been pretty strong,I love Frail State Of Mind and The Birthday Party, plus it's got 22 songs on it,so there will be a lot to digest.

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever - Sideways To New Italy
I thought Hope Downs was a very strong debut album and the two tracks released suggests they are onto another winner.

FYI Update/Jehnny Beth rescheduled release date:
"Been announced that this is now due out 12th June 2020 to allow extra time to release physical copies on same day as non-physical methods."
Taken from your, @Jarra Lad post on separate Jehnny Beth thread. :tiphat:

    Teddy Thompson - Heartbreaker Please
    Folk
All music lists as some related artists: Aimee Mann, Rufus Wainwright.
"Teddy Thompson was born into music, the prince of one of the Royal Families of British Folk. Born on February 19, 1976 in London, England, his parents were Richard & Linda Thompson, who recorded a series of wildly acclaimed albums in the '70s and '80s. Although his parents divorced when he was young, he would go on tour and record with both of them.
In 2000, Teddy struck out on his own, moving to New York and releasing his self-titled debut album via Virgin Records. While the album received strong reviews, sales were slim, and for a spell he toured with *Rosanne Cash's backing group."

No wonder this is striking a chord w/me today, as I'd just listened to Roseanne Cash's 2018 "She Remembers Everything" CD last night. Previously unfamiliar w/him, but based on the strength of the early single & samples of 2 others I've heard, it's a pre-order for me; reaching out to indie record shop, right now, who I like doing biz w, esp. in these times.
