On the BBC, many of the progrsmmes are "old shows." I think they coined the phrase "Another chance to see," to describe old programmes of dubious quality.
I've always been curious about this show. People say it's great. We're talking the 1967-68 show, right? No spoilers, but with only 17 episodes, does it have an end, or is it up the air due to cancelation? I've been watching Three's Company with the idea to finish the whole thing. I have no idea how far I'll get. But it's light fun and brings back childhood memories.
We watched the first 4-5 seasons of Mission: Impossible as part of quarantine theater, but it gets to be a real slog right around the first or second year that Leonard Nimoy joined the cast. You begin to see a lot of repeated plotlines and bad stories that are super predictable. And some of the gimmicks are laughably silly: the "rubber mask reveal" is particularly silly. The first few seasons with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain had some really good moments; after that... not so much. We've since bailed and moved on to other shows.
Saturday nights starting at 7pm I enjoy watching the over the air channel Heroes & Icons (H&I) as they show: Baa Baa Black Sheep (AKA Black Sheep Squadron) Tour of Duty Combat! The Rat Patrol 12 O’Clock High
I've always loved Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond. Frasier had some very clever writing. ELR's writing wasn't nearly as clever or witty, but it's still a show with some very funny moments.
Ditto... followed it religiously in '76 as an 8-year-old... this thread made me look this up: POOR LITTLE LAMBS – The Corsairs of Baa Baa Blacksheep
