I see now-- it seems from what you've said that The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry R.F.D. are one big 1960-71 saga; is that accurate?
There was a sit-com called “He & She”that I have long searched for but been unable to find. Anybody ever stumble across it?
The Big O Young Justice (the episodes before the series was put on hiatus, haven't seen the new episodes yet) Green Lantern: The Animated Series Gilligan's Island Ned & Stacey The Critic My Living Doll (a collection consisting of all surviving episodes) Batman Beyond ReBoot Teen Titans I also have a number of perfect anime collections, including: Cowboy Bebop Excel Saga Chobits Figure 17 Angelic Layer Tenchi Muyo! GXP DNA 2 Please Teacher Martian Successor Nadesico Vandred Trouble Chocolate
Essentially. It's all the same Mayberry, though lacking the spark and energy Don Knotts and Jim Nabors brought in the B&W years.
From reading your comments in other threads, I was under the impression that you were going to skip "Green Acres" on DVD, or did the price of the complete series come down enough that you decided it'd be worth buying it? (Or are the "Green Acres" DVDs you're referring to the original MGM releases?)
Reading thru some of the lists in this thread, I'm seeing some series mentioned that I wasn't even aware of their existence on DVD... And I think I might have to seek some of them out
1.Hogans Heroes 2.I Dream Of Jeannie 3.Star Trek (orig) 4.The Prisoner 5.Monty Pythons Flying Circus 6.Fawlty Towers 7.Saturday Night w/ The Not Ready For Prime Time Players 8.Taxi 9.WKRP in Cinncinatti 10.Cheers 11.Seinfeld 12.The Johnny Cash Show 13.All In The Family 14.MASH 15.The Bob Newhart Show (orig.) 16.In The Heat Of The Night 17.Tonight Show w / Carson
I can't answer this, you wouldn't believe me. My wife and I decided not to pay for premium stations, too much junk. So I just get basic and then buy the Box set TV shows when they are available. My family gets my old ones that I decide not to keep. I didn't see some of the very long posts before I wrote the above...
I rediscovered I have another complete series on DVD: "The Six Million Dollar Man"... I bought it two or three years ago and stashed it in a cabinet, placing it there because I had another series I was watching at the time and planned to watch "SMDM" when that series concluded- I didn't get around to it... I bought it when Target was selling the individual seasons for $10.00 each, and I've yet to open any of them... Now it's moved down on my "to watch" list, because I've bought other titles that I prefer since then...
Yes...I have many of the orig 90 min shows I taped to VHS & just haven't had the time to transfer Everything else that was available I purchased from Carson's web site... The limited edition 56 DVD set so as far as the most complete Tonight Show items available...yes
didn't know you cared. ; ) yes, I finally found the DVD box used and quite cheap...I also have the 3 MGM sets as well...sad.
Ha! If only I'd realized what I was starting back in 2000 when I bought that first season of The X-Files...
continuing. . . The Job Steve Coogan box (has most of his series) Undeclared Extras Newhart The Bob Newhart Show Bob Mary Tyler Moore Kids in the Hall
You have more of Bob Newhart's shows than I do-- I have only The Bob Newhart Show, possibly because I strongly believe that that 1972-78 CBS comedy was the high-water mark of all of Bob's shows.
