    I think Ringo unique powerful backbeat defines their signature sound...

    He was born left handed and learned to play a right hand kit creating his style

    Listen to "Back in the USSR", "Dear Prudence" or "The Ballad of John and Yoko" for a taste of the Beatles sans Ringo.

    Well i guess they wouldn't have been the Beatles ... as without a drummer there would be no defined beat as @ledzepp says there Beat-less

    He was really missed on "Yesterday" and "Eleanor Rigby."

    Ringo always played to serve the song - never showing off, never phoning it in.

    His drumming was tasteful and rock solid.

    His contributions to the Beatles' sound are just as significant as those of the other three members.

    Besides the astounding work he did, he was paramount to the band's dynamics. So there wouldn't have been any Beatles without Ringo.

    :laugh::laugh::laugh:

    This guy did this with tons of Beatles songs all using the Pete Best "atomic beat," but most got taken down by UMG. A shame because I'd never laughed that hard.
