Are you use it was $6 last week, from the same seller? I noticed that this title was released over a decade ago. None of the new or used copies is sold by Amazon; they are all Marketplace sellers. I would assume that if this was $6 last week then either that copy was sold and everyone else wants much more for it, or that seller decided to raise their price to match other sellers. New copies are still available for just over $11, before shipping.

  5. Go to camelcamelcamel.com and you can see how variable the price has been since 2012:

    I’ve noticed this too.
For example, I’ve had Joy Division “Substance” LP in my basket for a while and it regularly jumps about 10gbp.
    Today, i get this message:
Substance has increased from £21.99 to £31.34

Another one is the Friday Music coloured vinyl of Elvis’ “His Hand In Mine” gospel lp which goes as low as about £29 - today its £55.89

zero control over price gouging. never buying another thing from amazon

  10. Not sure how you can blame Amazon for the prices 3rd party sellers charge? Do you also get mad at eBay when someone has a high buy-it-now price? And using the term price gouging in reference to a CD doesn't entail a lot of sympathy from me.

I'm not mad at anyone. Nor am I looking for sympathy. Good luck with that I guess?

Tell Amazon that your favorite title is a stock and it’s price will crater.

Or a brick and mortar store needed some stock but couldn't get it from their distributor because Amazon had all the copies.
