    Hi,

I love End Of The Line. My favorite track is Not Alone Any More. Roy Orbison's lead vocal gives me goosebumps to this day!

    Handle With Care.

Heard it over the loudspeakers at Tower Records, Hollywood and nearly dropped me drawers. The store had a pre-release copy, the sneaks.

It doesn't get as much play as it used to,
but I think I'm going to give it a listen right now.
If I had to pick a favorite track I'd go with
    Handle With Care.

What can you say? A fantastic slew of musicians and songwriters just playing it easy. Songs they might have otherwise thrown away, and they are almost all stellar. Picking a favorite is hard..... GH's "Handle..." and "Heading for.." are highlights, but you can't deny Petty's Dirty World or Bobby D's tounge in cheek stab at Springsteen in "Tweeter". Roy O still had the pipes to put "Not Alone..." over the top - and Jeff Lyne gave us a compelling Magarita.

Still and all - End of the Line is probably the best song. Ya just gotta smile when they sing "Wel, it's allllllright...."

It's always been 'End of the Line' for me. Lots of great tunes on the album though.

I like Tweeter, because it was the first funny song Bob had written in about 20 years.

This is tough. I haven't heard it in ages, and I was gonna go with Tweeter... but I have to say that Handle With Care is perfect.

Very tough to choose between "Handle With Care" and "End of the Line." I played both in bands and always enjoyed it, never got tired of them.

I guess "Handle With Care" wins by a nose. I'm with Steve...the first time I heard this on the radio, it just stood out like a rose among so many thorns.

Both singles are amazing, but I think "Heading for the Light" is absolutely awesome - one of my favorite songs from the '90s.

I like the extended mix of "End of the Line" best!

end of the line - best song, but I always enjoy Margarita - it's such a fun tune with Dylan vocals that's just enjoyable to hear.
Not alone anymore sounds too much like You Got it from Roy's album at that time.
Dirty world is great with last line
its a dirty world, a dirty world, its a f__king dirty world. Does it sound like they actually bleeped the song?

Well, with Bob Dylan I suppose nothing is ever sure. I always interpreted it as a Springsteen parody though.

George's vocal on that one is just brimming with confidence. I remember hearing the song at the time of its release and being happy simply because George sounded so happy. Orbison usually gets all the kudos in the singing department (and rightly so), but there is a certain peacefulness and calmness to George's delivery. His vocal is tremendously moving, as his (it goes without saying) his slide playing.

Oh yeah love this album. Bought it on vinyl the moment it came out. Handle With Care gets my top vote, followed by the story-song Last Night. Least fav is a tough question. Margarita maybe? It's a great album, I've played it many times, about once a year I'm pretty sure, and dug it all each time.

Didn't think at the time there'd be another album like it, and as far as I'm concerned there wasn't. Really with the amusing liner and all that, I guess I thought Vol.1 was part of the theme and assumed it was a one shot project anyway. I mean, with that talent all on one album? Come on! :) So I was relishing it from the get go.

I'd have to go with End Of The Line, with Handle With Care real close. Saw
Petty do HWC this summer, and it was great!
